month Drive Travel is sponsoring 'Both
Girls Racing' in the Rally of
Tasmania and Targa
Tasmania tarmac rallies. They are
an all girl racing team from Brisbane, Australia
and
are
sisters as well. Mel, the driver has been competing
in a variety of Motorsport events for over 10
years. Jasmine is the navigator, relatively new
to competive motorsport although both girls grew
up as members of the Renault Car Club of Queensland.
The
2006 Toll Shipping Rally Tasmania / Heritage
Rally is based in the City of Burnie on the North
West Coast of Tasmania. The competition covers
spectacular mountain and valley areas within
a 100km radius of the City, and returns to Burnie
at the end of each day. The Rally of Tasmania
is held on the 17th to the 19th of February 2006.
Targa
Tasmania held from the 25th to the 30th of April
2006 is an exciting International Classic. A
tarmac rally with |
competitive stages
on closed roads for the best touring, sports
and GT cars in the world.
It
is also Targa Tasmania's 15th Anniversary this
year which makes it a very special race.

Our quotes carefully spell out what is included
and what has to be paid at the start of your rental.
A
common mistake when clients compare rental rates
is that they don't read the inclusions carefully.
Sure, some companies say insurance is included but
what they omit to say is that it has an excess or
deductible of $3000 . We include Collision Damage
Waiver which reduces this to a more manageable figure
as standard. To buy this waiver will often cost
up to 12 Euros per day !
We
also include airport fees where we can - in Italy
for example some companies add 14% of the rental
rate. Other items to check for would be: Road Registration
fees, additional driver fees, city and sometimes
rail surcharges.
